Grandprix Graphisme «Dal barocco allo psychedelico»
The main emphasis of my work lies in transforming and reshaping the original organic baroque ornamentation into a new interpretation with the psychedelic world of distorted perceptions of the senses. From the systematics of symmetry in ornaments, I have made silhouettes the basic building blocks of my patterns. I have set myself the task of establishing a system of content for processing ornaments into a pattern, thus creating a structural transition from the traditional baroque element to the modern antidote, the psychedelic.
